Pleasant news from Virgin Voyages with the announcement of the name of its third ship.
The Resilient Lady, as the third Lady of the Virgin will be named, is expected to be delivered in August 2022 and by October to settle in Piraeus with two different 7-day programs, one in the Aegean and one in the Adriatic and Ionian.
The company said the introduction of Resilient Lady arrives on International Women’s Day, which is symbolic of the spirit of Virgin’s “Lady Ships” and is in celebration of women and their achievements, strength, leadership and resilience.
“We know the time to travel is on the horizon, and Virgin Voyages is here so that we can keep dreaming of irresistible vacations ahead,” said Tom McAlpin, CEO and president of Virgin Voyages.
“Sailing in the Med is such an extraordinary experience, and we’re so excited to bring the adventure of a Virgin Voyage to this beautiful place,”
“I’m so proud of the incredible work the team has accomplished to introduce Resilient Lady.”
