Vidanta Group, owner of Vidanta Cruises Line, will have 5 ships in its new maritime route project, which will begin operations on April 14 with a first journey from Puerto Vallarta to Mazatlán, lasting three days and two nights on its Vidanta Elegant vessel.
Vidanta Elegant will be the first ship of the five planned to operate, and it will also be the first totally Mexican luxury cruise line. This initial route will set sail from the Puerto Vallarta Port Administration to enter the Pacific.
Vidanta Cruises had announced its start in the first quarter of 2020, a project scheduled since the fall of 2019, was postponed until integrating the new Rockwell Group team to finalize design details.
As Cruises-Info.com reported , the works were focused on projecting the avant-garde and hospitality elements characteristic of Grupo Vidanta properties. In this regard, it is worth mentioning that the New York-based Rockwell Group intervened in the renovation of Vidanta Los Cabos.
Vidanta Cruises, is made up of 149 cabins and suites, with a ratio of one crew member for each passenger, as opposed to the standard one to five, as well as six public decks and restaurants of different specialties, 11 bars and a swimming pool on the upper deck.
