Carnival Cruise Line announced the cancellation of a couple of upcoming trips on its Carnival Horizon ship due to an issue the ocean liner is currently experiencing, affecting its top speed.
According to the line, the six-night trip through the Eastern Caribbean on December 5 and the eight-day trip through the South Caribbean on December 11, departing from PortMiami are now canceled.

Carnival Horizon will head to the dry dock redevelopment to address technical issues and will restart operations on December 19, 2021.
“We sincerely apologize for the unexpected interruption of your vacation plans. We are very disappointed that we have to cancel your cruise on such short notice. In addition to processing a full refund, we will also extend a 100% Future Cruise Credit (FCC) based on the value of the cruise fare for this trip, ”states a letter sent to customers.
