The Evrima dropped moorings from Vigo on March 15. The 1705 construction of Hijos de J. Barreras left Beiramar, towed by the ship Hispania , with the apparent objective of going up to the dry dock of a Cantabrian shipyard, undergoing the exterior painting work and returning to the estuary after a month.
The Evrima continues on a quay in Astander (Astican Group), without any anticipation of going up to the dock until at least the second half of July.
The Cruise Yacht YardCo shipping company, which uses The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection as a trademark, has contacted another shipyard to assume, to the detriment of its own Vigo team, the coordination of the works to finish the Evrima in Cantabria.
It is not just any company: a team from Chantiers de l’Atlantique, the largest shipyard in France and one of the largest in Europe, is already examining the cruise ship on board, as confirmed by FARO in sources close to Barreras itself.
