
According to a report from the Crew Center specifying the accident occurred in Civitavecchia on December 17, where the Norwegian Escape collided with the pier structure when leaving the port.

The damage can be seen on the starboard side, just above the sea turtle paint with strange rectangular scratches in the turtle paint itself.
