MS Zaandam: Crew Member Disembarked due to a Medical Emergency

MS Zandaam, Crew Member disembarked due to an emergency

A medical emergency occurred on board the Holland America Line’s MS Zaandam.

An employee of the cruise ship had to be treated. However, since the health of the crew member on board could not be adequately secured, it was decided that the crew member should be disembarked in an emergency.

Worths Reading: Four more ships will be leaving the Carnival´s fleet!

So it happened, the crew member onboard the MS Zaandam was handed over to the shore and from there transported by ambulance to the nearest hospital.

MS Zaandam is currently anchored in front of the port of Torbay, where the emergency disembarkation of the employee took place, according to devonlive. The complaints of the employee and the reason for the emergency disembarkation were not named by the source, but we also wish at this point a good and speedy recovery.

Like the entire Holland America Line fleet, MS Zaandam has been out of service since March 2020. In the past year, the company had also sold four cruise ships to new operators. Two ships went to the Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, two ships to the Greek company Seajets.
