Cruises in Costa Rica to start again on September 2021, cruise lines to resume operations includes Celebrity Cruises, Carnival and Princess Cruises.

Costa Rica will reactivate cruises tourism and welcome ships again from September 1, 2021. However, when entering Costa Rica, the crew and passengers must all be fully vaccinated. Approved vaccines are those approved by the National Vaccination and Epidemiology Commission. The trip may also only be started if the last vaccination was administered 14 days ago.

The resumption of the tourist ports will benefit Limon, Puntarenas, Caldera, Quepos and Golfito. Eight ships will be able to resume operations there, including the Windstar from Windstar Cruises, Sea Cloud from Sea Cloud Cruises, Seabourn Quest from Seabourn Cruises, Celebrity Millennium from Celebrity Cruises, Carnival Pride from Carnival Cruise Line, Crown and Diamond Princess from Princess Cruises and Seven Seas Mariner from Regent Cruises.

The guests who want to go with one of the above-mentioned ships from a respective port must fill out a so-called health pass form 72 hours in advance of the trip, only then are they allowed to enter there.
