Costa Diadema; All crew required PCR tests

Genoa – The offices of the Maritime Health of Genoa have asked Costa Cruises to carry out precautionary swabs to all the Costa Diadema crew. The site of the XIX Century makes it known . “The cruise ship is currently moored in the port of Genoa and is embarking passengers before leaving this evening for a trip to the Mediterranean,” writes the Genoese newspaper.

The request from the Maritime Health , the Genoa-based company said, came after seven passengers disembarked in the Palermo port tested positive for Covid-19 in recent days . All passengers, before boarding and then once the cruise is over, according to the anti-Covid protocols in force are subjected to a swab.

The Diadema – chartered by a foreign operator – will leave tonight, late compared to the scheduled time.

Update

The ship has obtained the green light from the Maritime Health and can leave the port of Genoa.
