As we anticipated a few days ago in this post, Pullmantur saw a light at the end of the road, due to speculation such as, Celebrity was going to transfer two of its Millennium-class ships to the company based in Spain.

This is due to the restructuring process that is being carried out in that country.

It was denied yesterday, according to CruiseHive.com who contacted the shipping company, asking about this situation, to which Celebrity Cruises responded as follows:

Whereas we totally help the reorganization efforts of Pullmantur and proceed to work productively with Pullmantur because it develops its new marketing strategy, it is necessary to make clear that now we have not agreed to lease or promote any of our ships, together with any Celebrity Millennium class ships, to Pullmantur.

Celebrity Cruises denied the transfer of two of its Millennium-class ships, even though this seemed to be good news for both Pullmantur lovers and its workers, the company still does not have a ship at its disposal and it is still stranded waiting for a resolution.
