Evrima: The Ritz Carlton yacht delayed again

June 25, 2022

Despite having expressed a conditional go-ahead for cruises, the CDC has raised yet another alarm recommending not to undertake trips on cruise ships. To make the message more explicit, the level of attention has been raised to the fourth degree which indicates a “very high level of COVID-19“.

The CDC recommends that all people avoid traveling on cruise ships, including river cruises, around the world because the risk of COVID-19 on cruise ships is very high. It is particularly important that people with a high risk of serious illness avoid traveling on cruise ships, including river cruises, ”the US agency explained in a statement.

The CDC said passengers who decide to take a cruise should undergo testing three to five days after the trip and stay home for seven days after the cruise.

The CDC said even if someone tests negative, they should stay home for the full seven days. Not only that: the American authority also explained that if a guest is not tested, it is safer to stay at home for 14 days after the trip.

This is why the companies have continued to postpone the start of the trips, despite the positive signals that have always arrived from the CDC in recent weeks.
