Carnival Cruise Line cancels European season and postpones US start of Mardi Gras

New cancellations on the Carnival Cruise Line

A few waves of rejections have already been triggered, especially in the American cruise market, and now more participants are following again. Carnival Cruise Line announced today that further trips have to be canceled and the European season of the Carnival Legend is completely canceled. The Legend should have started in May and then headed back over to the States in October. That has now been completely removed from the program.

Furthermore, all trips in the USA have been canceled until April 30, 2021. The trips for the new Mardi Gras building have even been canceled until May 29, 2021, only then they should start from Port Canaveral.

With the new wave of cancellations, it is now clear that there will be no cruises from the US ports for at least the first few months of this year.

We will see how the US authority CDC will react with the new government to the cruise lines and their wishes to slowly want to sail again. German offshoots of the American corporations have already clearly shown that it is not only possible to drive in times of Corona, but that it is also a safe form of travel.
