Boat adrift, the Carnival Sensation crew saves 24 people

Miami – A Carnival Cruise Line ship rescued twenty-four people who were on a boat adrift in international waters, just 37 miles off the coast of Palm Beach. The same company made it known.

The Carnival Sensation came close to the boat shipwrecked providing life jackets, water and food. When the small unit started taking on water, Sensation rescued all 24 people, including some children, and brought them aboard. The group was transported to the cruise ship by a medical team and then quarantined apart the crew.

Since the sector lockdown has taken place, Carnival Cruise Line’s ships have not been operational and have only a minimum crew on board.
